Went to get my car inspected and since we’re asked to get out of the car I got to see the guy: stall my car, grind 1st gear, then when he called me over he didn’t put the parking brake on so my car started rolling through the station.

Cracked windshield, realistically no functional emissions equipment, some shoddy repairs by yours truly to have a functioning transmission... AND 100% street legal. I didn’t even have to have it with me to get a tag.

I love living in a state with some of, if not the, lax-est transportation laws in the country.

First let me say: Holy shit that sucks and I’m sorry that happened.

However, condemning all DMV employees because that one guy is why every DMV pretty much sucks. I see people treat the employees like shit every time I go in, and then people wonder why they’re treated like shit back, even when they weren’t shitty to them.Every time I go to the DMV I treat them with respect, even if they’re shitty to me, because I know people treat them like shit. I also generally have no problem because I'm super nice to them. It's not their fault I had to come into the office.

Honestly I have never had a good experience here but being someone in customer service, I don’t ever go in with the mindset of being a dick.

That being said, it started going downhill when the guy directing people into lanes told me to go to 3 then decided to lecture me that I wasnt listening...
